Sandiaga Confesses to Import Dependency and TKA Policy

RakyatDigital. Candidate number vice president number 02 Sandiaga Salahudin Uno held a dialogue with representatives of the Malang City community. In a simple meeting held in this alley, Sandiaga delivered his campaign promises.

In the presence of representatives from all Malang Villages, mostly mothers, Sandiaga reiterated that Prabowo-Sandiaga would focus on the economy.

"We focus on the economy. An economy that focuses on providing and creating jobs, stable and affordable prices of staples, now low or expensive prices?" ask Password.

Sandiaga then said that before the meeting, he had stopped by the Malang Big Market. There he met with Mrs. Laily, a vegetable trader who stated that the price of beans and carrots rose by 20-30 percent.

"What previously costed Rp. 10 thousand to 15 thousand per kilo. Some of the Rp. 10 went up to Rp. 12 thousand per kilogram. I see the need and the government's duty for prices to be affordable," explained Sandiaga.

Sandiaga added, like other cities in Indonesia, Malang is said to have great potential to improve the welfare of its people.

"Malang has a lot of potential in boosting its economy. From tourism to agriculture. Indonesia is a country that has everything. Natural resources, labor, agriculture, mining. But why can't we manage it," said Sandiaga.

Sandiaga also admitted that he was worried about the current conditions, especially in terms of import dependence and foreign labor policies. There are also many regulations which he considers weaken the economy of his own country.

"We will limit the import of goods that we can produce on our own, starting to reduce our dependence on foreigners, creating and providing jobs and prices for affordable and stable basic needs," he concluded.
