Rupiah occupies key position, signed by US dollar (again)

PojokPos. The United States dollar (US) again pressured the rupiah this morning. The US dollar exchange rate turned to strengthen against the rupiah this morning to the figure of Rp. 14,550.
As quoted from Reuters trade data on Friday. The US dollar was observed to move from the position of Rp. 14,490 to Rp. 14,555 until this morning.

If it is withdrawn in the last five days, the movement of the US dollar has been moderated at the level of Rp. 14,400-14,500. The highest position of the US dollar this week was recorded at the position of Rp. 14,649.
While from the RTI data, the rupiah is in the position of caretaker for Asian currencies against the US dollar. The rupiah recorded a depreciation of 0.52% or 76 points.

Japanese yen and the Hong Kong dollar are two currencies that managed to excel against the US dollar today. While other major currencies are compactly weaker against the US dollar.
The rupiah itself weakens in almost all major world currencies. Practically only New Zealand dollars and Rupee Indians have successfully suppressed the rupiah.

The US dollar is the second currency that has the strongest pressure on the rupiah this morning. While the first position was occupied by the Euro which managed to squeeze the rupiah to 83 points this morning.
